Horseshoe Bend Park

Located at the end of the Highway 94 East out of Rogers Arkansas on the Peninsula

Within the in Horseshoe Bend Park are two sandy beaches and covered picnic tables, but don’t over look the other places to relax and play; hiking a trail in the pine forest is fun; you could also fly a kite, play a game on the volley ball court, play in one of the play parks; enjoy a walk or ride a bike through all the paved roads with only slow moving cars.

One lesser know feature of Horseshoe Bend, but so important when needed, is the Medi-Port Heliport.  When minutes mean the difference between life or death, that’s what having a Medi-Port Heliport in your back yard is.

Safety is not something to be overlooked when vacationing.  Horseshoe Bend is located on the end of a peninsula with one highway in and out.  The park is also under the watchful eyes of Park Attendants who live within the park from April through November, and also patrolled by the Park Rangers, and our Benton County Sheriffs.  Horseshoe Bend Fire Department is a mile away from the park

Horseshoe Bend Park sits in a wonderful location…  easy access, well cared for facilitates (i.e., clean bathrooms with flush toilets), fun places to play, easy fishing while walking the shore line and beautiful scenery.  It is amazing to view and use a shoreline that goes from smooth banks to rocky bluffs in just a short walk.  Flat walk into the water to climbing down that rocky shore bluff.  If you have a boat canoe or kayak there are bluffs to climb as high as you dare and small caves to explore.
